Brutus is a very brute bull who has no trouble with the ladies. Often followed by flocks of cows, which sometimes isn't as pleasant as it seems (they are cows after all), it may appear he's just a bouncing bachelor just living day to day with no worries or cares. However, Brutus is forever haunted by the fact his father was locked up as a child simply because one little red fox was walking down the street.
Brutus's father suffers from a fairly ancient disease among bulls. A rage inducing disease triggered by the color red. Brutus's brother, Sid, was often abused by his father as a child for being cursed with a reddish fur coat. Brutus is often visiting home to check up with his mother and Sid who grows suicidal with age.
Brutus's family life is far from perfect but it is the main focus in his life. Brutus highly believes Felix to be the cause of an imperfect family. Some tend to think Brutus holds such a grudge because he's inherited a little bit of his father's disease, others think Brutus is just looking for someone to blame for his family's dysfunction. The answer is unknown.
