There was but it was upgraded and released it for the Xbox-Live Indie Games. Seemed a bit unfair to just leave it around even with a few features missing.

There are two things I regret doing, one is not placing the ability to climb trees in the tutorial, and making it a bit confusing where to go next by having the camera too close at times. I think it's about time I made a walkthough.

Also it's nice to hear that the battle mode wasn't a total failure.

Finally got around to playing Tales of the Night. It's pretty fun, though the tutorial didn't seem to help me a lot in terms of progression in the main story. I got to an area early in where the most distinct landmark is a single tree between an area that I assume I have to jump out of. But I can't think of any jumping techniques I know to get out of that area.

So far though, the fighting's pretty solid, and the game is quite nice to look at.

I did have one bug where I fell into a pit and kept falling for 10 seconds before I suffered damage (and died) rather than the usual 1-3 sec.

The battle mode is very nice and straightforward brawler competition action with friends though, and was fun.

Overall, I had a good time playing this on the 360. I'm just totally stumped on the main mode.
