Working with Music
I’ve temporarily stepped away from the collision of the game to begin texturing the model but I’ve temporarily stepped away from that to address something that even I had a problem with, the music. I don’t think my music was bad but there could be times where it wouldn’t fit with the rhythm of the game and I repeated it so much that it could become, well… annoying. I’m being very careful to make a complete soundtrack that has no recycled songs, and fits with the game pacing. At the same time, I’m attempting to improve on my composition.
Sadly I haven’t been able to make a single song yet due to a new standard, but I”m getting there : )

Sorry for disappearing for so long. I’m really hoping the music making goes great!

Nobody really needs textures : ) unless you wanna have a real close camera, I think the colored model just a few posts ago looks pretty nice – In any case it’s a real darn cool “place holder” that can hold on its own until making finishing touches later.
I’ve been thinking of the idea of throwing together a game that looks not good at all, then refining it gradually until satisfied. To see the “whole picture” can help not getting lost between details, I guess, I dunno.

Not a problem, “Retl” and thanks!
But no texures!? I like the furry look! In fact I’ll likely add some fur decals afterwards. But one of the reason I like to get things such as this out the way is because material management and model seams are things that can have a drastic affect on my model format. Besides, as usual, I’m really curious how it will look : j
I think putting graphics on the back burner could work but I would think that would only work if you’ve implemented or experimented with all the techniques you want to use already. Ehhh which I haven’t ^_^’
Not doing so could lead to a lot of revamping later on. It’s more fun to experiment mid-project anyway.
An update to my little news story though. Because I have “musicians block” I’m actually going to wait until I have the graphics of the first stage. I seem to need a mental image to get anything done. Plus, I want to make sure it fits perfectly. I could probably do the last stage music from the vibe of the game alone though.

Ah I understand now, it seems to make sense!
